Andrew Oxenham

Professor of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts

Dr. Oxenham is a Distinguished McKnight University Professor. He is an expert in human auditory perception and neuroscience, bridging both the basic and applied branches of auditory science. He has had continuous NIH funding since 1998 and has authored over 130 peer-reviewed papers since 1994. His focus has been on perceptual consequences of hearing loss and on improving sound perception through cochlear implants.
