Emilie Snell-Rood

Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior

Emilie Snell-Rood studies the evolution of learning and developmental flexibility using diverse systems from butterflies to mammals. She has developed a seminar course that communicates concepts from biology that are useful for bioinspired approaches.

Dr. Snell-Rood recently published an article in Nature calling for more collaboration between biology and fields interested in bioinspiration.
