Fred Rose is the co-founder/director of Acara with the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota. Fred's current work involves helping others design solutions to global environmental challenges through Acara and to global public health challenges via involvement in the USAID-supported One Health Workforce program. Fred has over 30 years of technology and business development experience in corporate, NGO, and academic settings. He was director of technology strategy for Honeywell India; helped found social ventures in the U.S., India, and Mexico; has taught social entrepreneurship courses at universities in six countries; and is founder of the local non-profit High Tech Kids.
